Mir-Ahmad Khan II, the belligerent ruler of Kelat, greatly expanded the boundaries of the principality. He captured Pishin and Shorabak, who belonged to the Kandahar Ghilzai, and tried to strengthen their positions in Makran. In 1730, he was killed in the battle with Kalhoras near Sunny, At Muhabbat-khan Kelat was included in the ownership of Nader Shah, whose troops during the campaign to India overrun the territory of Balochistan. Nadir Shah transferred the fertile Kach Gandava lands selected from the Kalhors to the Mukhabbat Khan as compensation for the "blood price" of the murdered Mir Ahmed.
